Fractional CMO and Strategic Marketing Consulting Services for Small and Midsize Businesses

Current Role

I am the Founder of the Five Echelon Group and a fractional CMO to multiple businesses. The Five Echelon Group provides strategic  marketing consulting services for small and midsized businesses. Our goal is to help companies build a strong foundation for success by designing a marketing strategy that identifies target audiences, develops messaging that clearly communicates a brand’s value proposition, optimizes online channels for increased lead generation, and creates compelling content that highlights the company’s unique benefits and competitive differentiators.

Most Recent Corporate Position

Before founding The Five Echelon Group, I served as the Vice President of Marketing for small, SaaS technology company based in Tampa, Florida. As part of a marketing strategy to increase lead generation and brand awareness, I was responsible for the implementation of new marketing automation technologies. My team moved the company off Pardot and proprietary web technologies and onto HubSpot as the company’s marketing automation platform. Ancillary tools from salesforce.com, Uberflip, GetAccept, Sigstr, WordStream, Lucky Orange, Wistia, Twenty-Three, Terminus, AdRoll, and others were integrated into the marketing platform to create a demand generation engine.

The Virtual CMO Podcast

Host of The Virtual CMO Podcast

The Virtual CMO podcast is a show for marketing professionals at small and midsized companies who are looking for strategies to grow their businesses. Each week, I focus on what it takes to build strategic marketing plans and execute successful campaigns. The podcast features interviews with marketers and industry veterans who share their real-world experiences in running marketing programs. I discuss marketing automation technology and talk to vendors about how their tools can improve marketing effectiveness. I talk with freelancers and agencies to learn how their services can help scale your team. And, I highlight real-world examples of marketing done right...and wrong.
